got q-tip a lion cut yesterday. yep… even though i wanted to back out even on the way to the grooming place… her identity is alot about the 4 inches of fur which radiate from her.. but since i’m going to be gone for 10 days in NC and then another 10 days at the end of May to visit Kellam in London, i know my roomie appreciates this new do. as does the queen herself. when i’m gone even for a long weekend, the layer of fur i return to is evidence of the fact that she requires daily maintenance and love. it’s only fair for all, that i got this done. serious furballs are the hazards of leaving her for extended periods of time (not to mention heartache). she looks like a completely different kitty! she even acts a little different too. in her first few hours home she was acting extra precocious. i don’t know if it was all the excitement of spending the whole day out of the house. riding the bus, being at the groomers, taking a cab, but the ole girl was sticking her new shaven self places she doesn’t normally find curious. i told her “just cuz you think you’re all skinny now doesn’t mean you can go anywhere you please”.

hilarious…she looks thrilled.
hilarious…she looks thrilled.
interestingly, she’s quite happy with the new style. she is acting more spritely. i compare it to when i have dropped a few pounds and i feel more energetic. but i’m not happy with the workmanship of the groomer and will never take her to pets unlimited ever EVER again.
I’m sure you could do just as fine a job -if not better!
ok
genius or madness – you decide.

i’m gonna go with madness. it’s a squirrel for chrissakes! maybe ‘genius’ if it were a kitten. yes, for sure.
